I do not follow the order of the CED. The first year of AP Precalculus, I thought about what my students know from Algebra II, what ordering of new vs review topics will keep them from growing complacent, what pacing of topics will keep them engaged, and what order of topics enables year long spiraling. I found an order that works for me, but in no way do I recommend this order for others. In fact, I discourage it. I only am sharing it here because I want to share my notes and homework assignments, and without an order, some elements of the notes/homework will not make sense.

Below is the pacing I followed during the 2025/26 school year. Note that assignments geared toward preparing students for FRQ2 do not reflect the announced changes to the format of that question (but on the FRQ page, I have many practice FRQ2s that have been updated for the new format).
